All P&C people involved have many family and work commitments so we’re very aware of flexibility and that many hands make light work!

Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer positions
We hope there is someone in the school community with basic bookkeeping skills who might be willing to give a few hours per week for this position. The Treasurer is part of the P&C Executive and is responsible for maintaining custody of P&C funds and keeping records of receipts and expenditures. Because of cash and cheque handling, it is usually best if the Treasurer is available to frequently visit the school. Ideally an Assistant Treasurer will also step forward to help.
Whilst we get great support for convening stalls on Fete day, the event can’t happen without a full Committee. We have some wonderful people who have nominated to help manage the Fete but we need more help and hope to form a larger committee with people who can put their hand up for the roles below. All roles have clear guidelines to follow from previous years.
|Project manager||Stay in touch with planning and keep the project plan up to date|
|Sponsorship Coordinators x 4||Help drive sponsorship (cash and in-kind) through local businesses, with a good guide from last year to follow|
|PR and promotions||Manage Fete facebook page, in-school promotions and local publicity|
|Graphic designer||Design updates |
|Stall coordinators x 2||Work with class parents to allocate stalls and then act as a point of contact for stall convenors|
|Equipment hire||Hiring outdoor furniture, stalls, refrigeration etc|
|Food and beverage ||Purchase additional food and drinks beyond what is donated by local businesses|
Last year’s events raised significant funds to help the school. For instance, over $100,000 has just been spent on ipads and other technology, additional teaching, and new whiteboards. This is additional to over $100,000 funding for the infants playground upgrade – with much more work to do!
